The TDR50 was the smallest of the family in the TDR range made exclusively for the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) only.
Built in very limited numbers and only produced for one year in 1988.
These were a rare motorcycle then and are even rarer now and harder to find.
If you Google this bike, you will find only a handful for sale in the whole World.
Possibly the ONLY ONE of its kind in Australia.
A very rare bike, very collectable and on the road they are possibly one of the quickest 50cc engines even at today’s standards.
The liquid cooled engine standard produces 7.2hp, nearly triple that of the Honda Monkey in 1988.
This is one very cool mini bike.
For a 31 year old motorcycle this bike presents in very original condition (please see photos)
Has a couple of small cracks in the upper fairing
This model was a scaled-down 50cc replica of the on/off-road TDR250 sport model.
It features a 2-stroke single-cylinder engine with a piston reed intake valve, 140/130 mm of wheel travel in the front and rear suspensions, 12-inch cast wheels, disk brakes and more.
Its is light and has a “spirited” running performance when riding around.
